Screw it. I'll write it anyway! So I still have no legal... or even running... vehicle. While CA DMV took the money out, they sent my paperwork back and told me that something was missing. Something. So I did manage to get a hold of them and I need a photocopy of my drivers license. Seems simple enough, but it's actually more difficult that one would expect when one has the memory of a goldfish. But hopefully soon I'll get this taken care of. Have to mail something to Social Security by March 2, but without a working vehicle I'm not entirely sure how I am going to manage this. I commissioned a couple of people two months ago. I had the money then. Things happened, mostly involving my car's registration and my drivers license expiring, so I didn't have the money any more. Now, I had the money at the beginning of the month. Things happened, mostly involving the fact that I had to have my dog put to sleep, so I don't have the money any more. Ah, but what a lovely lesson to learn. Social anxiety can transcend your real life and take over on the internet.
